Guided by Shipibo Maestros and rooted in ancient Amazonian traditions, Inkan Rao was created to offer a safe, sacred space for deep healing, spiritual growth, and reconnection with nature.

Surrounded by the powerful energy of the Apu Mountains and blessed by the sacred waters of the Wilcamayu River, our center honors the wisdom of the Shipibo people and the spirit of the Incas. Through authentic plant medicine practices, heartfelt guidance, and connection to the earth, we invite you to return to your true essence and awaken the healer within.

Our Shipibo Maestros, Doña Angela and Don Rono, bring generations of healing wisdom, guiding each Ayahuasca ceremony with love, sacred tradition, and deep spiritual vision.

Dona Angela 

Hailing from the vibrant community of Raoboya Nativo, nestled along the Ucayali River in the lush embrace of the Amazon jungle, our Maestros, Don Rono and Doña Angela Lopez, are devoted to ancient medicine traditions. Their journey into the world of healing began at a young age, under the loving guidance of their grandparents, sparking a deep connection with the natural world and its medicines. Through years of dedicated dieting master plants, these Maestros have cultivated their extraordinary medicinal gifts and carry a radiant light within.

Don Rono and Doña Angela, brother and sister, are highly esteemed for their expertise and extensive experience in the art of plant medicine. As proud bearers of a rich lineage of healers within the Shipibo community, their roots are intertwined with the essence of traditional healing. Profoundly versed in the spiritual and medicinal realm of plant spirits, they possess the wisdom to guide you on a transformative journey, helping you regain health, love, and balance.

Discovered by our Shipibo Maestros on the land where the center now stands, the Inkan Rao Tree is a living spirit deeply connected to the energy of the Sacred Valley and the wisdom of the Incas.

Respected as a guardian of the land, the tree radiates playful, loving, and powerful energy—supporting the healing work that unfolds here.

In Shipibo tradition, this tree is seen as a spirit child, full of joy, openness, and strength. Its presence during ceremonies offers protection and guidance, reminding all who visit that true healing is supported by both earth and spirit.

Our Founder's Journey

Justin founded INKAN RAO in 2020. His profound connection with the healing power of Ayahuasca began after facing the traumatic loss of his beloved at the young age of 24. This life-altering experience called him to the Amazon Jungle of Peru, where he embarked on his healing journey. Guided by the wisdom of Ayahuasca, Noya Rao, and the presence of his beloved's soul, he embarked on a transformative path, slowly but surely opening his heart.

Justin believes that when we truly open our hearts, we unlock the potential for deep, mysterious healing that touches the soul. He understands that the heart holds the key to both spiritual transformation and inner peace, and through his work, he seeks to guide others toward this sacred place within themselves. For Justin, love is the most powerful medicine, and he is deeply devoted to sharing this healing love with anyone who is ready to receive it. His mission is to create a safe, nurturing space where people can rediscover the limitless love within their hearts and allow it to guide them toward healing, growth, and spiritual awakening. In everything he does, Justin shares his belief that true healing begins and ends with love, and he invites all who are seeking peace and wholeness to experience this beautiful journey alongside him.

In Loving Dedication to Brenna Guzman

This center is dedicated to Brenna Guzman's extraordinary soul, whose love continues to guide and inspire us. Without her, this sanctuary of healing would not be possible.

In 2019, Brenna and Justin were involved in a tragic accident in Chiang Mai, Thailand, when a driver suddenly collided with them. On that fateful day, Brenna lost her life—the most devastating moment for Justin. It was this profound loss that set Justin on a path of healing and transformation through plant medicine.

Following the accident, Justin journeyed to the Peruvian Amazon in search of solace. Guided by Brenna’s spirit, they embarked on the mission to establish this healing center. Her love, wisdom, and light have been vital to everything we do here at Inkan Rao. When you step into this space, you will feel that love. It has the power to heal and transform you, just as it has done for Justin.

Brenna, we thank you endlessly for the medicine and love you have brought to this world. Your spirit and your light are woven into every part of this center. May your love guide us in the sacred work we do here.
