FAQs
-
We recommend arriving in Cusco at least two days before the retreat begins to acclimate to the altitude and settle in. Many guests enjoy spending time in Cuzco or go directly to Pisac, a beautiful village nearby, before joining us at the center.
-
Yes. Ayahuasca is legal in Peru and recognized as a sacred plant medicine, especially among Indigenous communities like the Shipibo-Conibo people. At Inkan Rao, ceremonies are led with deep respect and in accordance with traditional practices.
-
A treatment focuses on cleansing and healing using various Shipibo tools — not just Ayahuasca, but also plant baths, remedies, and songs. A dieta is a longer spiritual commitment to learning from a specific plant teacher. We recommend starting with a treatment for deeper preparation.
-
The retreat includes:
9 nights of accommodation
4 Ayahuasca ceremonies
Daily plant treatments (baths, remedies, saunas)
Shipibo Maestros guidance
1-on-1 consultations
Integration support
Vegetarian meals
